Western Day

Lucy had Western Day at school last week & she LOVED it.  The fair was in town so they brought over lots of baby animals for the kids to pet, like baby kangaroos, I was very impressed.  They also had pony rides for all the kids.  Lucy's teacher told me that she was dying to ride the pony but when it came time to actually get on the pony she freaked out.  Oh well, we still have a few more years of Western Day.

As usual Lucy would not smile or stand in any kind of still position for a picture, but I tried to get a few after school, she was on a major sugar high from all the treats at Western Day.

Oh, & she learned the word, "Yee Haw" & was basically screaming it all night  & the next morning when she woke up she laid in her bed yelling "yee haw momma" until I came to get her.

One of the best pics I could get, you can kind of see her sweet smile here.

Yee-Haw

Just running around screaming

Finally still, but not for pictures only to read through her Dora book.

Here is Lucy telling us about her day at school - reminder she is on a major sugar high!
