Sitting Up

Lucy Jane started sitting up this week! She can't sit up for long, but we are working on it everyday.

Even though she can sit up, this is how she spends most of her time:Or palying with her feet, one her favorite activities:

Rice Cereal

Lately it has felt like we live in the North Pole! I am a true Texan because Thursday morning when I saw the snow falling I was not happy & ready for it to go away & this is only our 3rd snow this year - I don't know how the people in the North handle all the cold. Anyway, the snow really was a bummer b/c we had to cancel Young Life that day & it was the 2nd Young Life club we had to cancel this year due to weather. We really wanted to have club because we have a big camp sign-up night on Monday & needed to get the word out to all the kids. Oh well, hopefully we can still get the word out.

So, Cody, Lucy & I had a warm night inside our house & we decided to give Lucy Jane her first try of "real food" - here are some pics to document that night.

Happy Birthday to the best Husband & Dad in the world!!

Monday was Cody's 28th Birthday. We had a nice little celebration with dinner & then home for cookies & presents. Cody requested his favorite cookies (white chocolate cranberry cookies) instead of a cake this year so Lucy & I made some cookies that afternoon for him. Lucy & I are so thankful to have Cody in our lives.

4 Months!

At 4 months Lucy Jane weighs 13lbs 8 oz & is 25 inches

Some highlights of her 4th month in the world include:

Going to her first Texas basketball game with Grandpa, Grammy, Hannah, Tyler, & Bekah. In the last few months she has become a true gym rat going to lots & lots of basketball games. Between Cody's games & our high school kids games she has become a real fan. She loves watching the game & seeing all the movement & the bright lights
