Lucy Jane turned 1 this month & I have mixed emotions about it.  It makes me sad that she is getting older & we will never have this time back, but I have loved every new stage.  She has been so much fun these past couple of months.  She is learning so many new things & will try & copy everything you do, it's pretty funny.  I can't believe that this time last year we had a newborn, it seems like forever ago!  We love you so much Lucy Jane & can't imagine life without you!

Here are a few things Lucy Jane is doing at 1 year:

*crawling really, really fast & not really interested in walking by herself

*loves to push chairs around the kitchen

*loves to play peek-a-boo

*says "mama" & "Dada" & I think she says more (mo) & car (ca)

*signs for more & sometimes please

*sleeps 12-13 hours a night

*takes a morning nap (only on days she's not at school or church) & a long afternoon nap

*Drinks whole milk (still from a bottle, but working towards only sippy cups)

*loves cheese, fruit, pasta, & yogurt

*Only eats table food (she started rejected baby food a couple months ago)

*loves books & Elmo

*loves to go on walks

*has the sweetest smile

Can't wait to see what this year holds!
