Spring Break

This year for spring break (I know this was about 2 months ago, but I am doing the whole catching-up thing this week) we went down to my parents house to celebrate my Grandma's 80th birthday. The weekend was so much fun as family came in town from Iowa, Florida, & even Washington to celebrate Grandma Shack.

Lucy & her Great Grandma

My Grandma is an amazing woman & I am so blessed to have her in my life. For as long as I can remember her & my Grandpa have always loved all their grand kids so much. They always took time to invest in our lives & to show interest in the things we were interested in. I will never forget how they would travel all the way down from Indiana just to watch us play basketball or soccer.

They have also blessed our family with amazing vacations every year. These vacations are some of my favorite memories from growing up, not just because we went to some amazing places, but because they were sweet times with aunts, uncles, cousins, etc. I hope that we can continue the tradition of family vacations because I want Lucy to grow up having those same experiences, as they were & continue to be some of our happiest times. Can't wait for family vacation this year!!

Thanks for everything Grandma, we love you so much!

During spring break Lucy also got to:
Spend some quality time with her Aunt Marcia & Uncle Terry

Practice walking

Eat peas with Aunt Bekah

Swing at the park with her cool shades

Meet all of her Shackelford cousins

And swing some more!!
