Sweet Lucy Jane

My friend Rachel came over when Lucy was exactly a week old & took some amazing pictures of her. She is so talented & I love all the pictures she got of Lucy, she looks so calm & peaceful in all her pictures. I can't wait to get some of them printed out & hang them up around the house.

So far Lucy has been doing great. We have started getting out more & it has been fun going places with her. Tuesday night we moved her to her own room & she did great. I was ready to make the move, but still a little nervous. I had some encouragement from some of my friends & my pediatrician strongly recommends moving the babies to their own room, so I thought I'd give it a try. She did great the first night, but last night was a totally different story...let's just say we were both pretty tired this morning. I know there will be good nights & bad nights with babies, I am just hoping we will have more good nights than bad.

I went back to club this week & it was so fun to see all the kids. Everyone was anxious to see Lucy, but I think I am going to wait a few more weeks till I bring her around high school folks. Next week we have our big YL fundraiser, so say some prayers for us if you think about it.
