Happy Thanksgiving!!

We have so much to be thankful for this year. God continues to be so faithful in our lives in every way. Hopefully we will all get a chance to stop this week & thank the Lord for all the ways he blessed each & everyone of us.

Young Life these past few weeks has been so fun. Every Monday night I drive away from club blown away by the new amazing leaders that we have & the countless numbers of kids that continue to show up. These past few weeks we have talked to the kids about sin, the cross, & what that means to them in their life today.

Last Monday we did our annual turkey bowling & I talked about how the amazing love of Christ demands a response from us. I told the story from Mark 2 about the paralyzed man & how when Jesus forgave him of his sins & healed him he had 2 ways in which he could have responded. He could have accepted that Christ healed him & lived life in that or he could have continued to lay on his mat even though he had been healed. I told our kids that are in the same situation as the paralyzed man, we can respond in one of two ways - we can accept the love & free gift that Christ has given us or we can continue to sit where we are not be changed. We pray that all of our kids will choose love.

A couple of weeks ago we did our annual couch-0-rama & had tons of kids show up. We are really beginning to build some great traditions at club & it's so fun to see kids get really excited about Young Life.
We drove around looking for the worst couches we could find for couch-o-rama - couches like this:
