Smiles

Lately Lucy Jane has really started to smile & we LOVE it. Here are some of her cute smiles, there will be many more smile pictures to come.

Thankful!

We had a great Thanksgiving & have so much to be thankful for! We spent Thanksgiving with my family this year & everyone came home, it was so great. We ate lots of good food, played games, talked, & of course Lucy got tons of attention from all her aunts & uncles.

I am so thankful for my family & I know I don't do a good job of always letting them know that. I am thankful for the way my parents raised all of us & for the relationship I have with each member of my family, they are all so special.

This year we had even more to be thankful for with little miss Lucy Jane. I am so thankful that God blessed us with a daughter, she is such a gift. I love that Lucy Jane was here for Thanksgiving, it seems like holidays are even more special with a baby around.

Here are lots of pictures from our sweet time together:

Lucy Jane LOVED being with her Grammy & Grandpa

She also got lots of kisses, here is her Aunt Bekah giving her some sugar

Lucy Jane got to meet so many people during her visit:

She met Drew & Hannah's new dog, Annie

She met her Great Grandpa & Grandma

And her Great Grandma Shack

And her Aunt Jane & Uncle Luke

And Santa Clause!

It was hard to leave after such a great visit, we wished we lived closer, but we know that we are supposed to be where we are right now. We have so much to be thankful for!

Back to work...

Last week I officially started back to work. I have been going to club, leadership, & other things but I had not really been going into the office or anything until last week. I love working part time & I am so thankful that my job allows me to take Lucy with me to a lot of things. As of now she pretty much goes everywhere I go & next semester she will have a nanny a few mornings a week so I can get stuff done. Lucy has been so good at the office, hopefully she will keep this up.

Here is Lucy looking cute for her first day at the office. She is ready to go with her diaper bag on one side & her computer bag on the other.

I have still managed to fit a walk into our schedule most days, especially since it's been so nice here. Here is Lucy so excited for our walk that day!

1 month

Yesterday Lucy was exactly 1 month old. The month has gone by really fast, yet it seems like she has been here forever. To document her 1 month birthday Lucy & I had a little photo session. I decided to use her teddy bear in her monthly pictures to document her growth. Right now she is about the same size as the bear, but it will be fun to see how much she will grow each month.

Some of Lucy's favorite things this month:
* Eating
* Sleeping
*Looking at lights & ceiling fans
* Learning to smile - she smiled at Cody on Sunday!
* Sporting all her new clothes
*Soothie pacis
*Looking at big pictures in her books
