Lucy Jane is pretty much having a blast 24/7 this summer. Pretty sure the worst parts of her summer are the times she is at home with just me - boring! She LOVED being at camp, what little kid wouldn't? All you do is eat yummy kid food, have attention from 100's of people all the time, swim any time you want to, & be entertained almost all day everyday. She can't wait to go back.
She did take some time everyday to stop & smell the flowers, she got very into that!
She loved dressing up for princess night with the girls every week. Her friend, Nathan, is dressed as a pirate for pirate night with the big boys.
Lots of fun friends! I love that Lucy gets so much loving from so many great people.
She loved "helping" out - basically dragging supplies from one part of camp to the next.
She helped make a Father's Day breakfast for Daddy.
She loves all stages & spent lots of time on stage when the campers were not around.
Our good friend, Meredith, came to camp with us & we loved spending the month with her.
And last but not least Lucy's favorite part about camp was the big water slide! It was 3 stories high & I thought Cody was joking when he talked about taking Lucy down it but sure enough by week 2 him & Lucy were pros at the slide.
We all love being at camp & are so thankful for the chance to be a part of something bigger than ourselves.
